Getting traffic to a blog is the greatest challenge faced by a blogger. Many have read about various strategies to generate traffic, but it is difficult to get traffic to their blogs, as these tips are not as effective as before. For example, check out the blogs that used to be very effective, but now that many people do it and talk about it, this is not as effective as it was.
Here are ten little known tips for getting traffic that I discovered through my own experience. ten enforcement tactics, while not as effective, how to get the most out of these tactics is to choose two or three tactics that you think you are looking for, and concentrate all their efforts on them for a period of time. You will be amazed at the results you get.
1. Secret blogging club
An important and under-utilized to get traffic to a blog is by joining groups or secret club of blogging. Very few people use this method, but it can be very effective if you focus your efforts on it.
Secret blogging club consists of a group of bloggers with a single goal: to help each other to disseminate information on their blogs to generate traffic for each other’s blogs. The concept is simple: when you join the club with about 50 members, to share each other’s service with the fans and followers (about once a week), and this leads to more traffic, because it exposes your Blog for a wider audience.
You need not worry about spam and the likes, and that groups like these are very moderate. Moreover, it is necessary to share all the links that are submitted to the group only has to share links related to your place, you feel useful.
A good example of an effective club of blogging is the secret DailyBlogTips Daniel Scocco of Retweet Club. In charge of the mines through a viral blogs secret club was invited to my blog to post a comment which currently has 97 comments and 87 retweets in a place with an average of 15 to 40 retweets comments by mail.
2. Blogmarking social sites
Another way underused, but effective way to get traffic to your blog using social networking sites blogmarking. Although this concept is similar to bookmarking sites like Digg and Reddit, works differently.
Social blogmarking site can be useful no matter who you are and your online status. All you have to do is write the best message and give the best name. Send it to your favorite site blogmarking office and, if they voted on the home page, it sends a stream of traffic to your blog. The articles that make up the first page are not determined by authors who claim, or the domain name depends on the author’s website. The quality and the title of the article is all that matters.
I also respect social blogmarking due to the quality of traffic you send. Visitors who come to the site I’m involved blogmarking (Blokube) spend an average of ten minutes on my blog. Currently, one of my best sources of traffic as traffic quality is concerned.
3. Ning communities
Get traffic to your blog through the Ning community is a good way to get traffic to your blog, but a few bloggers use this method. I learned this formula from Kim Roach, and he continues to send traffic, even months after I use it.
Like the blog, many people have a version of themselves or their business Ning.com. To create a portal in the form of yourusername.ning.com, which can also be a good way to get traffic to your blog.
All you need do is to help community members with questions, and reference in your blog if necessary. There is also a place where you can submit your blog to the whole community to see, another great source of traffic. If you plan to do this, do not necessarily have to write new messages, may have some of your old messages with a link to your blog.
Not all of Ning communities can get results. Some communities will send a zero visitors, while others will send you a hundred, so it’s important to be wise in choosing the community in which you want to participate. I found that what works is to make sure you can join a Ning community related to your niche, and has over 5,000 members.
4. Free, no catch ebooks
This is another tactic powerful but underutilized for more traffic to your blog. I have not used this strategy until recently, but when I did, I had some impressive results.
You can use this technique, write reports free as many as you can. The report is a simple, seven to ten pages ebook. Be sure to include links in an ebook to your blog, and encourages readers to visit your blog. Then distribute the ebook for free ebook directory, send it to your favorite forum, ask other bloggers to help share and do everything possible to spread the word about it.
What has worked best for me is to share my favorite internet marketing forums like Digital Point Forums. After using this particular strategy, so I increased my traffic: I got an extra 60-80 visitors a day for several days, and over 100 new subscribers blog.
5. Content syndication
I noticed that many people do not use this strategy, but it can be extremely effective to syndicate blog content to major online portals in your niche. Most of these portals are visited by countless people every day, and syndication for many of them will give your blog a boost in traffic.
Most of the best examples of sites of distribution of content that I found is Alltop and Daily Brain Storm.
6. Blogging for collaboration
It saddens me to see this traffic strategy is not particularly well used. In 2010, I worked with many known and respected bloggers to give advice from my readers.
I worked with 24 successful entrepreneurs online that have contributed to the post and shared it with their followers Twitter and Facebook fans when it aired. This sent me double my usual number of daily visitors and subscribers and ultimately more fans. It is also one of the most shared items on my blog.
Collaboration is a great tool and all bloggers advisable to use one day. Try to get some of the top bloggers in your niche to contribute to his blog, once the contribution is online, we invite you to share.
7. podcasts online
This is another way and under-utilized to get traffic to your blog. Pat Flynn Smart passive income is very popular for its podcasts and have been able to create a blog with success is based on this and other methods.
While podcasting is not new technology, very few people use it. But you can get more eyes to your content by creating a great podcast and information on your blog. Send it to your iTunes podcast directory and that people are increasingly searching for podcasts on your topic, they will eventually discover your own and if it is good, end up visiting your blog.
8. Online Groups
This particular approach is almost as old as some of the biggest websites on the internet, so I am surprised that very few people use it. I did not know the power of this tactic until I woke up to see an increase in traffic to my web site created by a group of LinkedIn.
However, many people meet and find solutions to online groups, many of these groups are also valued by Google, so they are indexed and ranked quickly. So you have a good chance of getting traffic to your blog using good teams. Post published LinkedIn group said was attended by over 200 visitors, that the group was published in the week.
Two of the most popular online groups and review the Yahoo groups on LinkedIn.
9. Authority Sites
I did not realize how powerful authorities were the first sites I interviewed a successful businessman Raymond Lei. He wrote the Wikipedia page with a link to my interview had been identified as one of resources. This link sends me to the Commons today, the regular traffic.
You can use this strategy, the biggest sites on the Internet, because the vast majority of these sites are easy to position more competitive keywords in search engines, you can easily get traffic from them. For example, you can read and check out some of the best books on Amazon in the same place a link to your blog. Or a conversation with the blogger’s highest niche, then paste the link to a resource in their Wikipedia page.
10. Webrings
It is also a very effective strategy for generating traffic to the abandonment of many people.
Webring is a collection of sites that are linked. A big advantage of using Webring is that it also helps you get connected to good quality, meaning both short-and long-term drive traffic, search engine traffic for you. Webring is probably the most popular Webring.com.
These are my favorite little-known tactics of traffic. What is yours? Where did you get traffic to your blog? Share your thoughts in the comments section.
