What do customers think?
The colors blend well. They go on so you can build to the intensity you desire. Unlike many of the “quality” shadows I’ve purchased in the past, this shadow doesn’t go on dusty. It stays where you apply it, and you can easily blend them. i find it perfect for the office, or even to a Saturday soccer game, or to a fancy dinner. This is my go to shadow because it never looks like I put way too much on, which is how some of the other shadows I’ve used go on. Although there are times when I want that dramatic look, those are the special occasions when I use more intense shimmer shades. Although pricey, this palette I use every day, so it is worth the investment. The eye liner cream, like others have noted, is too sheer, so I prefer to stay with my Stila pencil or a liquid liner. But the liner is blendable and compliments the other shadows in the palette, so I do use it as another shade when I prefer more depth on the lids and creases. I purchased the pinks. The case is also high quality and I never have shadow dust scattered all over. I can carry it in my purse and never worry about that.
Basically, you get four eye shadow shades and a liner. The liner is pretty sheer and you can also use it as a base for your eye shadows. It is annoying and a bit disappointing to have such a sheer eye liner. I give it only four stars because of the sheerness of the liner. But I absolutely love the shadows and the fine and so smooth glitter shades that come in this pallet. I bought the nude pink design and adore the shades and the glitter. I am still debating on getting the green design because I love the green glittery shades, but It is a useless liner. the glitter shades truly are unique and are a mature kind of glittery for an adult. If you get past that it’s a good little compact to be sure. I don’t regret it, I just use the liner as a base.
I have heard good things about Dior eyeshadows. I tried the spring garden palette first and fell in love with it, so I bought this one in blue as I have been looking for some blue eyeshadows. I really love it. It’s so convenient for someone like me who doesn’t really need sparkly smoky party eyes but just some nice cute colors to go with daily outfits. I mainly use the two on the left the and middle one for my super light morning makeups, but have used the other two occasionally when I wanted to have a sort of full makeup. Again, I really heart Dior makeup colors! Super nice pearl shine!
